Hi Bobbie, Thanks for checking out my blog!
I do work a lot from photos during the winter months when painting on location is a bit more problematic. I prefer to paint from life and have found that the learning that happens when I do, helps me immensely when I paint from photos.
As for finding one’s style. I say paint what you love, the style you love, the size you love, do it passionately. Your style will emerge without effort.

Hi Karan, Love all your work. Do you work a lot from photos? I was told by an artist friend recently that I needed to develop my own style an stop copying others work. This has always confused me. Just how do you develop style.
